Sex machine buyer's guide: how to choose
Before comparing motors, decide what you want the machine to do. An adjustable frame creates an in-and-out stroke through a moving arm. A ride-on model keeps the movement inside a broad base and may focus on vibration, grinding or thrusting. They can sit in the same collection, but they are not substitutes for one another.

Start with the movement
A frame makes sense when a direct stroke and adjustable position are the priority. The Hismith Premium Sex Machine lists a 100 W motor, adjustable angle, a 3–15.2 cm (1.2–6-inch) telescopic distance and app, remote and speed-dial control. The Thrusting Sex Machine with 6 Attachments uses a smaller adjustable frame with a tilting mount, rotary speed control and 4 suction cups intended for smooth surfaces.
A ride-on design feels more self-contained. The Dual Rider Remote Control Thrust combines 3 thrusting speeds with 12 vibration functions. The Dual Rider Remote Control shares the broad format but is listed for grinding and vibration, without the thrusting function.
That contrast is useful: read the movement description, not just the category name.
Stroke, speed and angle are different
Stroke is the distance the attachment travels. It is separate from attachment length: a long attachment on a short stroke still moves only through the machine's stated range. Hismith lists a 3–15.2 cm (1.2–6-inch) telescopic distance; a ride-on design creates a different motion and should not be compared by stroke length alone.
Speed describes how quickly the movement repeats. Vibration patterns, thrusting speeds and motor wattage are not interchangeable measures. The Dual Rider Thrust has 3 thrusting speeds and 12 vibration functions, while the 6-attachment frame uses a rotary controller for direct adjustment.
Angle changes where the movement travels. Compare the actual adjustment mechanism and how it locks. Hismith's listing instructs users to secure the adjustment knob before starting and not to change thrust depth while the machine is running.
A long feature list is not a substitute for movement that suits your body, room and preferred position.
The connector question
The attachment shown in the hero photograph is only one part of the decision. Before adding extras, check:
- the connector type;
- the supplied attachment's shape and dimensions;
- whether an adaptor is included or sold separately;
- which connector family replacement attachments must use; and
- how the attachment is secured and removed.
The Hismith Premium uses KlicLok. The adjustable 6-attachment machine uses its own jack-in connector. A product fitting one system should not be assumed to fit the other. Hismith lists a suction-cup adapter and a Vac-U-Lock adapter for compatible KlicLok machines.

Make room for the movement

Within the ride-on format, the distinction is simpler but important. The Dual Rider Thrust adds a listed thrusting movement; the Dual Rider Remote Control is the vibration-and-grinding version. Neither should be compared with a moving-arm machine by stroke length.
Power, controls and noise
Power changes the practical setup. The 6-attachment frame accepts 100–240 V input, while both Dual Riders recharge by USB. Check the supplied cable and adaptor against the power point and storage position you plan to use.
Controls should be reachable from the intended position. A wired dial offers direct adjustment; a wireless remote can be easier to reach or hand to a partner; an app adds only the functions confirmed for that model. Hismith combines app, wireless remote and speed-dial control. Both Dual Riders can be controlled from the product or their remote.
Noise figures are not supplied consistently. Hismith describes the Premium as operating below 40 dB, but there is no like-for-like figure for the other examples here. Treat an unlisted model as unknown, not silent.
What comes in the box?
Product photography often shows a complete scene. The box may not. Confirm the attachment, controller, cable, adaptor, manual and any stand or extension piece in the written contents.
The 6-attachment machine includes a mixture of attachments and extension rods. The Dual Riders are self-contained massagers without interchangeable penetrating attachments. That difference affects both first setup and what you may need to buy later.
